Armed with a Fender Stratocaster – an instrument the 27-year-old has long had an affinity with – H.E.R. rocked out to the The Star Spangled Banner in the heart of the French capital.
As Fender reveals, the stunning white and gold electric guitar H.E.R. was seen shredding on is a custom-built Strat crafted by luthier Brian Thrasher. The guitar uses Ultra Noiseless Vintage single-coil pickups and features a Modern “D” shape satin-finish neck for smooth action. Elsewhere, the guitar features an Arctic Pearl White-finished alder body with sculpted rear contours for “enhanced playability”, and a 22-fret 10″-14″ compound-radius fingerboard.

The actor rappelled from the stadium roof of the Stade de France, thrilling audiences as he descended to seize the Olympic flag during the ceremonial handover to Los Angeles, the host city for the 2028 Games.

The band – the first of its kind to perform at the Olympics – captivated audiences around the world with an absolutely wicked rendition of the 19th-century anthem Ah! Ça Ira!, a song steeped in French revolutionary history. Frontman Joe Duplantier told The New York Times of their show: “It was a very bloody era of French history, so it was very metal.”
