Fender’s limited edition Bvlgari Stratocaster screams luxury in every way
In celebration of the Stratocaster’s 70th anniversary, Fender has teamed up with Italian fashion house Bvlgari on a limited-edition release of the iconic instrument — and yes, it’s as swanky as you’d imagine.

To start, the guitar boasts a vintage-modern aesthetic inspired by the Aerodyne and Elemental ranges. Unlike your average Stratocaster, the Bvlgari Strat features a streamlined pickguard, downsized control layout and body-mounted single-coils.
The guitar sports a two-piece select ash body, and a 7.25”-9.5” compound radius rosewood fingerboard, and comes complete with a stunning mid-50s Wide-Fade Chocolate Two-Color Sunburst lacquer finish.
Other unique features include a soft V-profile quartersawn maple neck, a quarter-sized, one-ply parchment pickguard, as well as knurled metal volume and tone control knobs. There’s even a custom engraved Bvlgari neckplate because why wouldn’t there be one?
Players and collectors looking to get their hands on one will have to be quick, as only 70 standalone guitars will be produced, each priced at $4,525.
Along with the Bvlgari Stratocaster, the partnership also sees the launch of a Bvlgari Aluminum GMT x Fender watch, limited to just 1,2000 pieces. Meanwhile, 140 anniversary sets featuring both the guitar and the watch will be produced.
“The Stratocaster has been at the forefront of musical progress and sonic exploration for the last 70 years,” Fender’s Justin Norvell says of the release. “We wanted to partner with a brand with a similarly rich history; we’re sure fans of both brands will be very excited by the prospect of adding them to their collections.”
Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin adds, “As enthusiasts of both horology and music, we naturally joined up with Fender for a collaboration that transcends aesthetics; it’s a celebration of heritage, design, and innovation. This collaboration is the fusion of two iconic legacies and two precision instruments. It symbolises a harmonious journey through time and sound.”
