Eagles postpone remaining Hotel California tour dates due to coronavirus
Eagles have postponed the rest of their Hotel California tour due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The band announced via Facebook that the remaining dates of the tour would be rescheduled, writing: “This is complicated, so we ask for your patience and understanding. Meanwhile, stay safe.”
The dates have been moved to September and October. The Hotel California tour was initially announced last year, following a sold-out three-night run at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden, complete with a full 46-piece orchestra and 22-piece choir. Alongside the entirety of Hotel California, the tour set featured a second-half of greatest hits.
Eagles are one of the most successful rock bands of all time, having won six Grammys, been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and released one of the best-selling records of all time. They returned to regular touring in 2017.
