Charvel’s bruised-and-battered Super-Stock So-Cal Style 1 HH FR RW is packed with high-performance features for the serious player
NAMM 2025: Fender is finally back at NAMM 2025 after a five-year absence, bringing a fresh lineup of exciting new products to the show. Alongside the launch of its new Indonesian-made Standard Series guitars, Fender is also showcasing new releases and developments from its family of brands, including Jackson, EVH, Gretsch, and Charvel.
This year, one addition to the Charvel family is the Super-Stock So-Cal Style 1 HH FR RW, a guitar packed with high-performance features designed for the serious player.

Crafted from alder, the distressed white body of this Charvel Super-Stock shows plenty of character with scrapes, dings, and a worn finish, giving it the look of an axe that’s seen some serious playing action.

Wild aesthetics aside, the Super-Stock features a graphite-reinforced bolt-on maple neck, 12”-16” compound radius rosewood fingerboard, 22 jumbo frets with aged white dot inlays, and a wheel-mount truss rod adjustment thumbwheel that makes neck relief tweaks easy.
The guitar’s smooth, “fast speed” neck profile is designed for lightning-fast playing, while its rolled fingerboard edges provide the feel of a well-loved instrument.

In terms of electronics, the Super-Stock is sounded with DiMarzio pickups, featuring a Super Distortion in the bridge, a Dark Matter 2 in the middle, and a PAF Pro in the neck, delivering rich vintage tones with plenty of growl. Additional appointments include a tortoise shell pickguard, two gold speed knobs—one for volume and one for tone, as well as a Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo bridge for extra tuning stability.
The Super-Stock So-Cal Style 1 HH FR RW will be available in February 2025 and is priced at $1,999.99/£1,169/€1,349.
