Pedal fans on The Gear Page believe this may have something to do with the recently announced partnership between Behringer parent company Music Tribe and Sweetwater, which took effect on Wednesday (6 January).
Some discounted stompboxes include the cult favourite SF300 Super Fuzz, as well as the TO800 Vintage Tube Overdrive and VD400 Vintage Delay. These would usually list from $28 to $50 brand new.

Yesterday (7 January) Music Tribe announced that it had entered a “Super Partnership” with Sweetwater. The move sees the company focus on factory-direct sales, which it claims would lead to a price reduction of “up to 40 per cent” on future products.
The partnership also involves future product development, according to Music Tribe.
“Sweetwater’s tremendous product and market knowledge will enable huge opportunities around co-innovation for new products,” the company said in a statement. “With Music Tribe’s eight global Innovation Centers and 400+ world-class engineers, we will be able to turn around product ideas in record time.”
Thomann is rumoured be another super partner, according to an alleged internal company memo obtained by Music & Sound Retailer. The German retailer is also offering the same marked-down pedals as Sweetwater at a similar price.
The two other rumoured partners are Amazon and Alibaba.
