Audient launches two new iD interfaces, along with EVO recording bundle

UK audio company Audient has launched its lineup of interfaces for 2021, with two new iD interfaces and an EVO recording bundle joining its offerings.
iD4 and iD14 MkII
The iD4 and iD14 have both been updated to MkII. The new versions each provide 120dB of dynamic range for both analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue conversion.

Both the iD14 MkII and iD4 MkII are now completely buss-powered: the former via USB 3.0 and the latter via USB-C. Additionally, the iD14 MkII has been bolstered with dual headphone outputs, two more line outputs and a USB-C connection. Both MkII models have also been refinished in gun-metal grey.
The iD14 offers two Audient mic preamps, with 10 inputs in total and four outputs. The iD4 has one mic preamp, with two inputs in total and two outputs. Both interfaces sport a JFET-powered DI input, which is built to recreate the impedance of the front of a valve amplifier, so you get the best response from plugging your guitar straight into the interface.
Both the iD4 MkII and iD14 MkII are priced similarly to their predecessors.
Audient Marketing Director Andy Allen said of the upgrade: “Our customers can now enjoy improved audio performance, additional features and a stunning new aesthetic design.”

We were impressed with the EVO 4’s performance in our review, calling it a “tidy recording interface for technophobic guitar players”.
The iD4 MkII lists for £138 / €149 / $199, the iD14 MkII for £199.99 / €229 / $299 and the EVO Start Recording Bundle for £199 / €220 / $249. Find out more at audient.com.
