There’s a lot to unpack, so let’s get stuck into every guitar newly announced by Music Man at NAMM…
StingRay II Guitar and StingRay II Deluxe
Developed in collaboration with virtuoso Cory Wong, the StingRay II and StingRay II Deluxe are visually inspired by its StingRay Bass cousin. Both models feature a roasted figured maple neck, 22 stainless steel frets, Cory Wong HT humbuckers, and an ergonomic body design. The Deluxe model steps things up with a roasted maple fretboard, parchment binding, and a matching headstock.
The standard StingRay II comes in either Charcoal Blue or Cashmere, while the deluxe is available in Pine Green and Polaris White. Both come with a Mono case, and are available now.
StingRay Special
First introduced in 1976, the newly refreshed StingRay Special retains the same signature features as its original, including solid construction, famed oval pickguard, 3+1 tuning key configurations, and a Music Man humbucker. Available as a four- or five-string model in either H or HH pickup configurations, the StingRay Special will get a range of brand new colourways in the Spring. These are Dazzler, Oxblood, Butane Blue, Cherry Punch, Faded Vintage, and Fallout Green.

In addition, two limited Ball Family Reserve (BFR) 6-string models – Toxic Sludge and Solar Flare – will feature Black Limba bodies, buckeye burl tops, and ebony fretboards, with only 100 pieces per model produced.
