Alanis Morissette announces 25th anniversary tour of Jagged Little Pill
Alanis Morissette has announced a North America tour to mark the 25th anniversary of her classic 1995 album, Jagged Little Pill, and released a new song from her next record.
The 31-stop tour will begin on 2 June 2020 in Portland, Oregon and end on 25 July in Nashville, Tennessee. Artists Liz Phair and Garbage have also confirmed that they will be supporting Morissette on tour.
News of the Jagged Little Pill anniversary tour comes shortly before the premiere of the album’s Broadway stage adaptation. The musical, which launches this Thursday (5 December), is directed by Diane Paulus and features an original story by Diablo Cody.
Morissette also announced a new album titled Such Pretty Forks In The Road, due out 1 May 2020. The LP will be her ninth studio effort and her first release since 2012’s Havoc And Bright Lights. Hear Reasons I Drink, the first single from the record, below.
