Doug Wimbish Euro 4 Signature Model
Following the success of the Doug Wimbish USA Signature Series in 2024, Spector has introduced the Euro 4 Signature Model, with specifications taken directly from Wimbish’s iconic 1987 NS-2 bass.

With custom-wound EMG pickups positioned for optimal tonal clarity, a slim neck carve, and narrow nut width, this bass offers unparalleled playability. Its maple body wings, figured maple top, and Spector Legacy Preamp ensure a rich tonal palette, making it a versatile instrument for any player.
Available in Amber Stain, Black Stain, and a limited-edition aged finish inspired by Doug’s original bass, the Euro 4 Signature Model blends vintage inspiration with modern precision.
Wimbish describes the instrument as “absolutely stunning—visually, sonically, and with the feel of my original ‘87 NS-2 Spector 4-String. The stars aligned on this model… It shapes your sound beautifully, and I couldn’t be happier.”
NC-4 Frank Bello Signature Model
Anthrax bassist Frank Bello has teamed up with Spector on the NC-4 Frank Bello Signature Model, a bass that marries the brand’s rich history with Bello’s thrash metal pedigree.

Sporting a striking metallic purple finish affectionately named Tina Rose after Frank’s mother and grandmother, the NC-4 features Bello’s signature EMG P/J pickups, an alder body, a one-piece maple neck, maple fingerboard, vintage-inspired chrome tuners and a modern adjustable bridge. It also comes complete with a matching headstock and purple acrylic block inlays that really pop on stage.
“I am so psyched to join the Spector family, a place that already feels like home to me,” Bello said of the new partnership. “The great people at Spector listened and contributed to every detail that I was looking for in a bass, and I am truly so excited for everybody to see what we’ve come up with. It was great to have the opportunity to bring some Spector basses on tour to give them a test run, and I can honestly say they checked all the boxes, and then some.”
Euro RST Zebrawood Limited Edition

Spector’s Euro RST Series is already a favourite among bassists for its lightweight build, resonant tones, and versatile electronics. New for 2025, the RST receives a striking makeover with figured Zebrawood tops and lightweight Empresswood wings.
This limited-edition model also features a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, along with Aguilar Super Double Pickups and the OBP-2 preamp. Finished with a matching Zebrawood headstock, the Euro RST Zebrawood Limited Edition is as visually stunning as it is sonically impressive.
Spector Custom Shop Short Scale NS Options
Since its inception in 1977, the Spector NS-1, and later the NS-2, NS-5 and NS-6, have long been an icon in the world of electric bass with its gorgeous curves, playability, and unique tone. Now, nearly 50 years later, the Spector Custom Shop has expanded the NS line with all-new scale length options — 30”, 32”, 34” and 35”. Available across 4-string, 5-string, and 6-string basses (the NS-2, NS-5, and NS-6, namely) these new scale options ensure that players of all styles and preferences can find their perfect fit.
Most of the new bass models mentioned, including the Doug Wimbish Euro 4, NC-4 Frank Bello, and Euro RST Zebrawood Limited Edition will be available this Spring. The Custom Shop Short Scale NS options are available now.
