The orange BIC-10A-OR is inspired by the Boss Distortion DS-1, while the green BIC-10A-GN is a nod to the Phase Shifter PH-3. Meanwhile, the red BIC-10A-RD honours the Loop Station RC-1, while the yellow BIC-10A-YL takes the shade of the Super OverDrive SD-1. The blue BIC-10A-BU matches up with the Super Chorus CH-1, and the black BIC-10A-BK pairs up with the Metal Zone MT-2.

Each cable’s heavy-duty braiding means they operate quietly and have strong durability. The cables are also designed with an oxygen-free copper core wire, which allows for precise signal transfer.
There’s also versatile options, with each 10ft/3m cable available with both 1/4-inch straight and right-angle connectors.

This isn’t the only news from Boss in the run up to NAMM. The firm has also launched the VG-800 V-Guitar Processor – a feature-packed amp modeller and effects processor that can emulate a host of stringed instrument sounds – and the WAZA Tube Amp Expander Core, a desktop-friendly unit that is a “powerfully enhanced” take on the original, focused on direct recording applications Boss is also releasing a pair of carrying cases, with the CB-BM-S and slightly larger CB-BM-M.
The new BIC-10A series instrument cables will be available for purchase at select US BOSS dealers for $22.99 this month. Find out more over at Boss.
