Awkward thumb placement over pickup!

So, I recently moved to a Sterling Ray34 from Fender, and absolutely love it! I have no issues with comfort playing in the middle or closer to the neck, but when playing near the bridge, using the pickup as an anchor has been awkward at best. its not a solid surface since it moves on the adjustment screws, and also it has a taper so there isnt much purchase area to rest on.

I wonder if there is a thumb rest that mounts on the top of the pickup without interfering with the adjustment…
