The Guitar Show 2024 Welcomes More Visitors And Brands Than Ever
The organisers of The Guitar Show, which took place at Cranmore Park, Solihull on 2 and 3 March, have confirmed it was the biggest show to date, both in terms of visitor numbers and exhibitors.
An additional 30 exhibitors attended compared to 2023, when the event moved to Cranmore Park from central Birmingham. And the number of visitors increased by 12%, with an even spread over the whole weekend.
Show organiser Jason Hunt from Torn and Frayed said, “I was absolutely delighted to see both the sheer numbers of visitors at the show this year and the reaction to what was a noticeably bigger event. The response from exhibitors, visitors and artists playing the Live Stage was incredibly positive and we’ve already started making plans for adding some exciting new features for 2025.
“Cranmore Park allows us all sorts of possibilities for expanding so I’m excited about what we might be able to do in the coming years to make the UK’s largest guitar event even better.”
Commenting on the 2024 show Adrian Thorpe of ThorpyFX said, “We’ve been exhibiting at The Guitar Show every single year the show has grown and made improvements. Jason isn’t one to rest on his laurels and as such the growth is driven by a desire to deliver the best show for customers but also on behalf of those exhibiting.
“This last part is key for us because it sets the tone for the weekend, we know we can relax and enjoy the atmosphere and meet our customers. the balance between quiet and loud periods is welcome for everyone too. The show is professionally run without being too corporate, exactly the vibe it should have.”
Echoing Thorpe’s comments, Faith Guitars’ Rob Bennett added “We’ve exhibited at The Guitar Show for many years now as it always proves to be a well-attended event with an excellent atmosphere. This year was no exception and saw our booth packed with visitors from the minute the doors opened. The opportunity the show presents for us as a brand to engage face-to-face with guitarists is invaluable. Roll on next year!”
