Using the Ditto X2 as 2-track looper
I’m looking to buy a Ditto X2 but I have a pretty simple question about the backing track capability. Basically, is it possible to essentially use it as a 2-track looper?
What’s I’m envisioning is:
1) Record a loop as the current loop
2) Move the current loop to the backing track while it’s playing
3) Record a new loop over the current loop while the backing track is still playing
4) Adjust the backing track volume to bring it in and out as in a two-track looper.
For some reason, I’ve had a hard time finding demos explaining whether this is possible. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
