MusicMan JP15 and Mono-Stereo for Piezo

Hi! Finally getting my first music man which is JP15. This guitar has Stereo and Mono Outputs. I use Bias FX 2, Scarlett Focus 2i2 and a cable to connect the guitar to Computer. I want to use Piezo when I need it. But I want to use it ,let’s say, in the middle of the song and I am on drive channel. Is it enough to push the switch to open piezo?
