Sabre HH Cobra Burst — Vinyl on Pickups?

Mine just delivered, and it looks like there’s a vinyl film/plastic on the pickups but for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to remove it. Assuming it’s what I think it is, does someone have a tip on how I should take if off? Thanks!

Otherwise…what a wicked, wicked axe. I took a quick video when I first opened the case…the lighting isn’t that great but wow — killer top and flamed neck!!!
