Gibson launches the new Slash Collection Victoria Goldtop Les Paul Standard

Gibson has launched a new signature Goldtop Les Paul Standard as part of the Slash Collection: Victoria.
Aside from the Gold body top, the guitar comes finished in dark black, and fitted with Slash’s personal touches found across his signature range. These include a C-shaped neck, hand-wired electronics, and a signature “Skully” drawing on the back of the headstock as well as Slash’s signature on the truss rod cover.
Other construction points include a maple top, a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck topped with a 12-inch radius, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Electronically, like all Slash Collection Les Pauls, there are two open Gibson Custom BurstBucker Alnico II pickups, along with Orange Drop tone capacitors.
Gibson CMO Cesar Gueikian said of the launch: “Developing Slash’s Collection with him has been an amazing experience. of Gibson. “The fact that Slash is intimately involved in this journey makes it special and a true representation of him and his sound. I am excited to formally announce the addition of the Victoria Goldtop to the Collection and I am looking forward to reading fan and media theories about why we chose to call it Victoria. Plus, stay tuned for more to come in the future with Slash.”
The guitar lists for £2,599. Find out more at gibson.com. For more gear news, click here.
