Luna Guitars announces the new Woodland Bamboo dreadnought model
Luna Guitars has announced a new dreadnought acoustic model, the Woodland Bamboo. The guitar, according to the brand, unites “solid tone and summer vibes.”
The guitar’s top, sides and back are all made from renewable bamboo, finished in a natural satin. The neck is made from mahogany, and comes with a C-profile and a 20-fret pau ferro fingerboard. This neck is loaded with a dual-action truss rod, and completes a full 25.5-inch scale length. As it’s a dreadnought, the neck is set into a full square-shouldered body, providing hefty projection of the sound – aided by the slightly longer scale length, which should give the strings more snap and punch.
Other hardware includes a pau ferro bridge, sealed die-cast tuners, and Graph Tech NuBone nut.
Classic Luna Guitars design ideas also find themselves here, with moon phase pearl inlays, and a laser-etched leaf design around its soundhole. It also ships with D’Addario EXP16 coated phosphor bronze strings, for a rounded, balanced tone.
There aren’t any electronics
The Woodland Bamboo dreadnought lists for $259. Find out more at lunaguitars.com.
