Dawsons Music Teams Up With Tekniq
Dawsons Music have announced that they are to join forces with Manchester-based events brand Tekniq in promoting and sponsoring their #TEK012 rave on 12th April 2020.
The Tekniq x Throne Room Records event will bring techno heavyweight Thomas Schumacher back to Manchester for an Easter Sunday rave in the Joshua Brooks’ basement. Following the release of his huge ‘Crimson’ EP on Adam Beyer’s ‘Drumcode Records’, the in-demand Berlin-based DJ, producer and composer is poised to headline another unforgettable Tekniq event.
Joining the line-up is Tekniq regular, Transcode. His recent ‘Devotion’ EP on Monika Kruse’s ‘Terminal M Records’ is flying up the Beatport charts, setting the tone for what is expected to be a massive year for him.
Representing Throne Room Records will be label boss Oliver Carloni. Oliver regularly puts out music on his own label, as well as releasing on revered labels such as Funk’n Deep and Respekt Recordings.
Of course, Tekniq resident, Josh Wakefield, will be on hand to kick off proceedings.
Dawsons Music stay true to their word in supporting local and national music promoters, record labels, and artists via their Studio D brand. Building on their experience at BBC Music Introducing Live 2019, Studio D represents the MI Retailer’s ambitious plans to become a leader in informing, promoting, and supporting artists, DJs, musicians, and promoters across the industry. Expect much more to follow in the coming months.
Jack Ward, Head of Marketing at Dawsons Music, commented:
“We feel that partnering with Tekniq offers the perfect opportunity to engage with an audience who may not have previously looked to Dawsons as their go-to resource for music-related gear and information. The Tekniq x Throne Room Records event is a huge opportunity to show that we mean business.”
Josh Wakefield, Founder and Resident of Tekniq MCR, stated:
“We’re super excited for the upcoming event and to be working alongside a brand like Dawsons Music x Studio D. It’s great to see them getting involved in the local music scene and supporting the community.“
