In Pictures: Polyphia’s Tim Henson and Scott LePage tear it up at our Masterclass
Tim Henson and Scott LePage of Polyphia were in Singapore and Vietnam recently for our Guitar.com Masterclasses, demonstrating why they’re regarded as modern guitar heroes.
The bandmates took to the stage at Singapore’s The Star Vista to deliver rousing performances of songs like G.O.A.T. and Goose, share their inspirations, explain their gear choices, and shed light on their signature Ibanez guitars: the THBB10 and SLM10.
Following their performance, the guys opened the floor to questions, answering queries about playing styles, techniques and influences. They shared tips on improving as a guitarist, giving a quick lesson on left-hand techniques and sweep picking. One big takeaway from the session? Henson and LePage warning the crowd not to be over-reliant on guitar tablature.
