New to G-System – getting slight earth buzz
Hi Folks
Picked a gen1 of these floor units yesterday and getting my head around it. Using 4cm into 410H and I have a decent enough tone with the help of Lairds whitepaper but one thing I noticed ( Which I don’t have in my previous stomp pedals setup and same cables etc) is a buzzing from my amp when I have the guitar plugged into the G-System guitar input in 4CM. If I plug directly into AMP the buzz disappears, even with the G-System still connected to the 410H FX loop.
I have tried the Preamp return/send also on the 410 H but made no difference just to eliminate the FX loop.
If I unplug the guitar from the G-System input the buzzing disappears.
I took a look at the forums and online and most posts seem to be related to noise issues or humming which I am not getting , this is just a light annoying buzz , like an earth leak.
Input dB: 3dB
Loop dB: 6dB
Loop Headroom: 6dB
Everything else at defaults.
Any suggestions to eliminate this ?
