Vintage Black Oyster wins the inaugural Ludwig Finish World Cup
To coincide with the Fifa World Cup in Russia during June and July, Active Music and Ludwig Drums UK ran the inaugural Ludwig Finish World Cup, giving Ludwig fans a chance to vote for their favourite Ludwig finish.
After a number of close matches, and over 7,000 votes, Vintage Black Oyster and Vintage White Marine were left to fight it out for the right to be crowned champion. In a week long poll Vintage Black Oyster was victorious with 58% of the vote.
Vintage Black Oyster was recently re-issued into the range and is the finish made famous by Ringo Starr and The Beatles in the ’60s.
With Vintage Black Oyster being crowned the winner, Active Music is now offering any Ludwig Heirloom Stockist the opportunity to purchase any Classic Maple, Club Date or Keystone X, pre-configured kit, in Vintage Black Oyster with an extra 10% discount on top of their normal main dealer discount.
