Taylor extends V-Class bracing to all US models – launches new 600 series
Taylor Guitars is making its new V-Class bracing available across all series made in its El Cajon (U.S.) factory with the release of new 300 Series and 400 Series Grand Auditorium models.
The company claims V-Class bracing, which has been well received by reviewers and won a ‘Best In Show’ at 2018 Winter NAMM: ‘… bolsters the volume and sustain to offer players a more dynamic voice to explore, while also resolving the minor intonation issues that players have long had to contend with’.
At NAMM 2018, the company announced its new V-Class 300 and 400 Series models which also feature inlay updates, including the addition of a peghead inlay to help identify them as V-Class guitars.
As well as launching the 300 and 400 Series Taylor also announced a second model from its Builder’s Edition collection with its new 600 Series version – the Builder’s Edition 614ce. The maple/torrefied spruce Grand Auditorium joins the Builder’s Edition K14ce, which made its debut in January and has received numerous awards, including the 2018 MIPA Best Acoustic Guitar Award.
